Connection diagnostic
To facilitate the diagnosis of the more common errors in the desktop application (related to the connection between the browser and the application), a new description of the possible error is included under each connector.
Modern Antivirus or Endpoint Protection products can enable a new inspect SSL mode which intercepts any connection from the browser to any site. To do this task, the Antivirus issue an SSL certificate on the fly which can generate a problem with the connection.

Update development packages
A full update of the packages used by the application to the last stable and safe version.
Although all the previous versions of DDC and AD are not exposed to the recent vulnerability reported in the Apache Log4J module, we decided to remove the Log4J package from the product.
Enhance the Connection Certificate
Google Chrome can be configured to follow a more strict security policy: Chrome Enterprise Policy List & Management | Documentation .
Under this condition, AD / DDC can generate a connection certificate that includes a CDP extension to comply with this requirement.
To achieve this functionality follow these steps:
Edit the config file of the user and add the following line:
userPreference.connectorIncludesCDP=true
Remove all the files located in the connector folder (\.alison-desktop\connector)
Restart desktop. A new certificate will be generated and you must enable this new certificate in your browser.
Support link
A new support link can be included in the product. Add a reference to the support site into the configuration file included in the Wizard.

AutoReset configurations
Under certain unfair conditions, AD/DDC can crash during initialization.
To revert this condition, the Desktop App can replace the config file with a new default config file.
If the Desktop App detects that a Keystore could be involved in the problem, a new window dialog allows the user to disable all the pkcs#11 Keystores, like smartcards and token.
All those Keystores can be enabled using the configuration windows.
Linux and portable versions
The package now is available in the following formats to install:
Debian (.DEB)
RedHat (.RPM)
Linux portable version
MacOS portable version (requires a JRE installed in the equipment)
Windows portable version
